Welcome to the Wildheart Retreat.

Join us for a weekend opening deep into your own potential. We are honored to welcome the ancient traditions of South America into the Appalachian mountains as we embark together on a journey of reconnecting to an ancient path, a way of rhythm, and a remembrance of community. This journey will take you deep into nature, facing the heat and cold, and emerging reborn as something new.

Itinerary

The journey unfolds in co-creation with the great mystery as Daniel listens to what the earth is calling for and what will support the energy of the group. While the exact order of events will flow naturally, the following elements will be present.

Temazcal

Together, we will build and sit in the first temazcal on this land. Together we will gather the branches and stones from the 200 acre property to create a temple. We will then sit in this temple as we sing and pray. Daniel carries the tradition of the Temazcal from Colombia where it has been a technology for great prayer and visions for generations untold. The heat from the abuelos (grandfather stones) will fill the space as we drum and sing and pray in darkness.

Ice Ceremonies

Daniel is a master of ice ceremonies. Trained under Wim Hof, he has bridged his prodigious teacher’s techniques with the ancient traditions from his homeland. There is great power in the cold. It has the ability to heal, to reveal, and to connect us with higher realms.

Fire Circles

So much of the modern world has been stripped of community. Over this weekend you will reconnect with people on a real, fundamental, and embodied level. This will come through in our ceremonies as well as when we sit around the fire with songs and prayers. Through ritual and practices you will have the opportunity to go deep, to be witnessed, and to alchemize that which no longer serves you. This is an opportunity to step into something new and rediscover truths about yourself.

Facilitator

Dafers (Daniel Fernando Silva Niño) is the first person to bring ice medicine as a physical and spiritual healing therapy to Latin America. He learned from Wim (the world’s most famous ice man), living with him and accompanying him for several years as he expanded and grew into new horizons and directions. Along his journey, many martial arts masters, yoga gurus, Shaolin monks, elders, and indigenous shamans came to guide him on the path of conscious breathing, shamanism, and nature.

Friendly reminder: this retreat is going to be a lot about nature. It won’t have a “luxury” hotel, but most definitely the greatest luxury ever: sleeping under the stars around the fire and camping together as community where we will find like minded people to also do networking with. We share this since this is a space where everyone’s gifts are mandatory offerings to humanity. Nothing is yours until you share it. So this design is made in a way where you can access your true authentic being, clear the path and begin to live your best life.

Special Accommodations

If you are unable to bring your own camping gear or uncomfortable with camping for some reason, please reach out. We will attempt to accommodate everyone’s needs.
